| Incomplete Appointment Fee | Travel and service fees will be due and payable if the signer is substantially unable to or unwilling to sign the document(s). For example, a notary was needed to witness an acknowledgement for a party. The notary fee was set at $15 for the signature and the travel fee was set at $25 for a total of $40. The notary arrived at the agreed upon location and time and the principal signer changed their mind about signing the document or wants to change it to a different day and time. Since the notarial act was not completed due to the principal changing their mind, the $40 notary/travel fees are immediately due and payable to the notary. | $ Varies |
